6. Payments

Where a program requires payment:

• the applicable fee, schedule, and payment instructions will be communicated by DegreeLabs

• payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Razorpay

• a payment is considered complete only upon successful confirmation

• taxes, if applicable, may be charged additionally unless specified otherwise

• users are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information

For digital payment grievances, RBI has established complaint and dispute mechanisms, including the Integrated Ombudsman Scheme and ODR-related measures for digital payments.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility, timelines, deductions, and special conditions may vary by program and will be governed by the specific Refund Policy and any published or communicated program-specific conditions.

For international immersion, travel-linked, or partner-dependent programs, separate cancellation, visa, travel, accommodation, administrative, and non-refundable third-party cost rules may apply.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• provide accurate and complete information

• keep your contact details updated

• review all instructions and communications

• comply with program rules, deadlines, and codes of conduct

• behave respectfully toward staff, mentors, institutions, peers, and partners

• use learning materials and resources only for authorized personal use

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, text, visuals, frameworks, program materials, presentations, methodologies, and learning resources are owned by or licensed to DegreeLabs unless otherwise stated.

• employment

• internships

• admissions

• visas

• scholarships

• funding

• specific academic or commercial outcomes

• selection by a partner institution or company

Any success stories or testimonials are illustrative and do not represent guaranteed outcomes.

This is also important from a consumer-protection standpoint, since marketing claims must not be misleading or unfair. The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 empowers the government to regulate unfair trade practices in e-commerce and related consumer contexts.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DegreeLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, reputational, or economic loss arising from:

• website use

• form submission

• payment gateway issues

• delays, cancellations, or program changes

• travel, visa, accommodation, or third-party issues

• user reliance on website content

• technical interruptions or downtime

Our aggregate liability, where legally enforceable, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user to DegreeLabs for the relevant service giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DegreeLabs, its directors, employees, affiliates, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of false or unauthorized information.
