2. Discover Program Refund Policy

The Discover program involves structured learning resources, mentor time, administrative coordination, and cohort-based delivery.

48-Hour Refund Window

Participants may request a full refund within 48 hours of payment, provided that:

  • the program has not started, and

  • the participant has not accessed program materials or sessions.

After 48 Hours

After the 48-hour window:

  • payments are non-refundable.

However, participants may request a one-time transfer to the next available cohort, subject to availability and administrative approval.

3. Immersion Program Refund Policy

Immersion programs involve international partnerships, university coordination, accommodation reservations, operational planning, and other pre-committed expenses.

Because of these commitments, a stricter refund structure applies.

In such cases:

  • the participant will receive a full refund minus administrative processing fees and any non-recoverable third-party costs (such as university fees, accommodation deposits, or processing charges already incurred).

Alternatively, participants may request transfer to a future immersion cohort, subject to availability.

5. Payment Gateway Charges

Payments made through online payment gateways may involve processing charges.

In the event of a refund:

  • payment gateway fees and transaction charges may be deducted from the refund amount, as these fees are non-refundable by the payment processor.

6. Scholarships and Discounted Seats

Participants who receive scholarships, promotional discounts, or special pricing may be subject to different refund conditions.

In most cases:

  • scholarship or discounted seats are non-refundable.

Transfers to future cohorts may be considered at the discretion of DegreeLabs.

7. Program Transfer

Participants may request one transfer to a future cohort if they are unable to attend the originally scheduled program.

Transfer requests must be made:

  • before the program start date, and

  • are subject to availability of seats in future cohorts.

DegreeLabs reserves the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for transfers if required.

8. Program Cancellation by DegreeLabs

If a program is cancelled by DegreeLabs due to operational reasons, insufficient enrollment, or other circumstances:

Participants will be offered either:

  • a full refund, or

  • transfer to a future program batch.

Participants will be notified in advance where possible.

9. Force Majeure

Certain events may affect program schedules, travel, or delivery.

These may include but are not limited to:

  • natural disasters

  • pandemics

  • government restrictions

  • travel bans

  • geopolitical events

  • institutional partner limitations

In such cases:

  • DegreeLabs may reschedule the program, or

  • offer transfer to a future batch.

Refunds may not always be possible if third-party commitments have already been made.

10. Seat Confirmation and Payment Deadlines

Seat confirmation for programs requires payment within the specified timelines.

Discover Program

Full payment must be completed within 14 days of seat offer.

Immersion Programs

Full payment must be completed within 60 days of seat offer or before the communicated payment deadline.

Failure to complete payment within the required timeline may result in:

  • automatic cancellation of the reserved seat.

11. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds will generally be processed within 10–15 business days from the date of approval.

Refunds will be issued through the original payment method, wherever possible.
